MEET POPPY

Janelle Maur (Poppy) is a dancer and musician from the Akron, Ohio area. In 2008, she moved to central Ohio to attend Otterbein University, where she studied Music Business, and played in ensembles throughout Ohio and the Midwest. In 2012, Janelle began working in the arts and culture sector, planning her fair share of events where she began to notice an epidemic of empty dance floors. Today, she spends Monday through Friday working in communications, where she gets to tell the stories of some pretty amazing kids.

MEET PIPER

Jessica Kehn (Piper) began dancing at the age of 3, following in the footsteps of her two older sisters. She spent most of her formative years as a competitive dancer, competing both regionally and nationally along the East coast. She later attended The Ohio State University and studied both Dance and English. In 2012, Jessica founded Artisan Dance Studio in Clintonville.
